White Widow by Barney's Farm is a true Amsterdam classic. For decades, its distinctive pungent, skunky, and spicy-sweet aromas have been symbolic of the smell of Amsterdam's streets and iconic canals. The evolution of this legendary strain now enters its next phase. Our White Widow retains the Brazilian Sativa high, which genetically accounts for 25%, and combines it with a super-resinous South Indian Indica, which makes up 75% of the genetics.
White Widow is an extremely versatile plant, a mold-resistant strain and also resistant to pests, which also thrives well in colder climates, making it quite uncomplicated to handle for all experience levels. White Widow develops into a classic Indica shape, with compact, vigorous, and fast growth with strong branches that grow bushy and wide in preparation for flowering. Indoors, heights of 100 to 120 centimeters can be reached, outdoors two meters are easily achievable.
The flowering time is nine weeks indoors; outdoors, harvesting takes place at the beginning of October. With the onset of flowering, large, heavy, and super-sticky, compact buds burst from the branches, appearing more reminiscent of Sativas – one of the many unique characteristics of this strain. The exceptional resin production creates a dense blanket of glittering trichomes that cover the colas, making them appear almost white, and even coating the long, bright orange pistils and small dark green sugar leaves.
This Amsterdam classic comes with an exotic terpene profile, packed with pungent, skunky, and sweet citrus aromas and an earthy taste of pine and spices.
